Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement

Our Commitment

Eden Medical (UK) Limited is committed to conducting business ethically, responsibly and with integrity. We recognise our responsibility to help prevent modern slavery, forced labour, servitude, child labour and human trafficking in all areas of our business and supply chain.


We support the principles of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and maintain a zero-tolerance approach to any form of modern slavery or human trafficking.

Modern Slavery Act 2015

The Modern Slavery Act 2015 requires certain commercial organisations  to publish an annual Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement outlining the steps taken to prevent modern slavery within their business and supply chains.

While Eden Medical (UK) Limited is not currently required to publish a statement under Section 54 of the Act, we recognise the importance of addressing modern slavery risks and are committed to promoting ethical and transparent business practices throughout our organisation and supply chain.

Actions We Take

To minimise the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking, we:
  • Operate policies and procedures that promote ethical business conduct and legal compliance.
  • Expect all employees, contractors, suppliers and business partners to uphold high standards of integrity and respect for human rights.
  • Seek to work with reputable suppliers and service providers that comply with applicable employment legislation and ethical labour standards.
  • Assess supplier suitability as part of our supplier selection and review processes.
  • Encourage employees and stakeholders to report concerns regarding unethical, illegal or inappropriate conduct.
  • Investigate any credible concerns relating to modern slavery and take appropriate action where necessary.
  • Review our policies and procedures periodically to ensure they remain effective and proportionate to the risks faced by our business.

Supply Chain Expectations

We expect our suppliers and business partners to:
  • Comply with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and all applicable employment legislation.
  • Prohibit the use of forced, bonded or involuntary labour.
  • Provide safe and lawful working conditions.
  • Treat workers fairly and with dignity and respect.
  • Notify us of any actual or suspected incidents of modern slavery identified within their operations or supply chains.

Continuous Improvement

Eden Medical (UK) Limited is committed to continually reviewing and improving its approach to identifying and mitigating modern slavery risks. We will continue to promote awareness of ethical sourcing and responsible business practices throughout our operations and supply chain.

This statement has been approved by the Management Team of Eden Medical (UK) Limited and will be reviewed periodically to ensure it remains appropriate to our business activities.
